The Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign is back for another year, raising important funds to support the Greater Napanee community.
myFM spoke with Abby Mills, Director of Community Ministeries, who told us the campaign starts this Thursday, November 14th.
Money raised through this campaign are going to support the number of programs the Salvation Army operates, like their snow suit and winter boot program.
The Salvation Army also provided backpacks and school supplies during the back-to-school season for all of the school kids in need in L&A County. They also operate a food bank and deliver the Good Food Box throughout the county.
Volunteers are also still needed to operate the Kettles this year. If you’re interested in volunteering, you can call this year’s Kettle Coordinator at 613-888-4426.
