The Lennox and Addington County Chamber of Commerce has been supporting our local businesses for over 25 years. Now covering the entire county, they work with provincial and national chambers to advocate for their members. Locally, they host events like the Business Excellence Awards and networking sessions. Their fundraising efforts, supported by members, help local causes.
myFM spoke with chamber president Ken Shurtliffe, who told us the community of small businesses in our area is what keeps our community thriving.
The Chamber is hosting their next Business After 5 event hosted by Empey Estates today, Wednesday Oct 23rd, from 5:15pm – 7:15pm.
This is a great opportunity to network with other business owners from around the County while you enjoy appetizers crafted from locally sourced fresh, seasonal ingredients harvested from nearby farms and gardens catered by The Catering Company. The Chamber is also excited to have local singer/songwriter Joe Ramsey in attendance for the evening provide his amazing music.
You can RSVP your spot by emailing businessmanager@l-achamber.ca. This event is free for Chamber members and is $5.00 cash for Non-Members or a non-perishable food item that we will donate to a local food bank.
