The reviews are in and the new The Tragically Hip documentary is getting thumbs up from fans and admirers alike.
‘The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal’ debuted on Prime Video on Friday.
Rob Baker spoke with myFM recently prior to the release and says the journey all started with a shared love of music.
Baker says Director Mike Downie, the brother of Gord, did a great job of sharing their journey.
The new documentary is even bringing back memories for many Kingstonian, like Mayor Bryan Paterson.
Tickets are still on sale for the United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington’s screening event. After night one sold out fast, a second screening on October 2nd was scheduled. The event will feature the first two episodes and will be followed by a live audience Q&A, moderated by Bill Welychka and featuring Director Mike Downie, Executive Producer Jake Gold, and members of The Tragically Hip.
Campaign Chair Joanne Langlois told us all ticket proceeds will go to United Way KFL&A’s 2024 fundraising campaign.
