When Bay of Quinte voters cast a ballot in the September 19th byelection to replace MPP Todd Smith, one of their candidate choices will be Mark Snow.
A veteran, Snow who’s representing the Ontario Libertarian Party told myFM his 30 year military career helped form his opinions on – and belief in – the importance of individual freedom, liberty and accountability.
Snow says dissatisfaction with conservatism was key in his decision to embrace the Ontario Libertarian Party.
Snow says under a Libertarian system the current power structure in Ontario would be decentralized.
There would still be what Snow calls an “overarching political structure of the centralized government.” It’s purpose would be to manage things like the environment and transportation infrastructure.
