Planet Fitness in Napanee has once again partnered with the Greater Napanee Fire Department to host the 5th annual 9/11 memorial stair climb.
Members of the Greater Napanee Fire Department and their mutual support area are attending the gym today to climb 110 flights on the stair climb machines.
After her climb, myFM spoke with Lianne McCauley, Captain of the Stone Mills Fire Department. She told us it’s an honour to be able to pay tribute to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Community members are encouraged to stop by to show your support or even climb some stairs yourself.
