The Ontario government is enhancing access to free menstrual products in schools.
Education Minister Todd Smith announced a new three-year agreement with Shoppers Drug Mart to supply over 23 million menstrual products to students.
This initiative aims to combat period poverty and reduce stigma, following a similar deal started in 2021.
Alongside the products, over 1,300 dispensers will be distributed to school boards across Ontario.
