This Thursday, enjoy organ music by Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn, Pumfrey, and more, including improvisation on mohawk hymns.
Organist, conductor, composer, and educator Matthew Larkin will be performing this Thursday at 7pm at Christ Church, His Majesty’s Chapel Royal
of the Mohawk, located 52 South Church Lane, Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
myFM spoke with Chief R. Donald Maracle, who told us Larkin has performed in the community many times.
And he’s visited for more performances since then. Larkin will be performing this week on the churches beautifully restored pipe organ at the chapel.
Tickets for this concert cost $20 each with funds raised going to support the Chapel Royal Preservation / Special Projects Fund.
