A search warrant in Stirling, just north of Belleville, led to the seizure of several vehicles, including classic cars, and the arrest of two individuals.
In late 2023, the OPP received a complaint about stolen vehicles worth about $3 million. On May 14, 2024, a search warrant was executed, where police found stolen vehicles and seized 16 more as proceeds of crime.
Police arrested and charged Robert Bradshaw, age 54 of Stirling with:
- Theft of motor vehicles over $5,000
- Fraud over $5,000
- Use forged documents
- Conspiracy to commit and indictable offence
And Gary Leblanc, age 55 of Stirling with:
- Theft of motor vehicles over $5,000
- Fraud over $5,000
- Use forged documents
- Conspiracy to commit and indictable offence
- Uttering Threats
The accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before in Court in Belleville on a later date.
The investigation is ongoing.
