Starting July 1, 2024, garbage bag tags in Loyalist Township will cost $3.00 each, an increase of $0.50. This price hike is part of the 2024 budget to cover rising operating costs for the program.
The last time the bag tag fee was changed was in 2015.
From May 21, 2024, residents can buy the new green tags online and at various locations in the Township.
Current orange tags can be used until July 1. After that, residents must use green tags. Between July 2 and September 6, residents can exchange old orange tags for a credit towards new green tags at the Odessa Municipal Office.
