A Deseronto woman has been arrested by the East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the OPP and is now facing multiple charges.
On April 30, around 3:00 pm, CSCU members found a woman wanted on a warrant leaving a residence on Main Street in Deseronto. They arrested her and discovered about 18 grams of suspected fentanyl, 2 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, 24 assorted suspected hydromorphone pills, a needle with suspected crystal methamphetamine, digital scales, and cash during a search.
36-year-old Ruby Pringle has been charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (Opioid) – two counts
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
After a bail hearing, she was released from custody and is set to appear in court in Greater Napanee on a later date.
