If you drove past the Strathcona Paper Centre this past Saturday, you may have noticed a group out cleaning up litter along Jim Kimmett Boulevard.
They’re a Napanee based group of motorcycle enthusiasts, the Limestone Road Riders.
myFM spoke with Ken Scourse, who told us they contacted the town in last fall checking if anyone was going to clean in that area, and when it looked like there wouldn’t be, they forged ahead.
14 bags of garbage! Scourse says they began at the arena and headed west along the road.
The group meets regularly and hosts parking lot practices in the SPC parking lot that are open to anyone.
