Voluntary litter and roadside cleanups are taking place throughout Stone Mills Township until the end of May.
Residents volunteering for roadside cleanup will receive Municipal bags or can use their own garbage bags. For every bag of debris collected, residents will get one free Township bag for personal use. To get Municipal bags or register for free bags, call the Public Works Office at 613-378-1435 in advance.
For disposal, roadside cleaning bags won’t count toward the 2-bag limit at Waste Sites. If taking bags to the Waste Sites, inform the landfill attendants.
If residents prefer leaving full bags at the pickup location, contact the Public Works Office to schedule a pickup. Large items can’t be accepted at Municipal landfill sites, so report any improperly disposed large items to the Public Works Department.
The Township of Stone Mills would like to thank all of residents for their continued support in helping to keep our Roadsides Clean.
