Yes, you read that headline correctly! Lennox and Addington OPP officers are teaming up with Napanee District Secondary School students to run 100 miles (161 kilometers) in 24 hours in support of the NDSS breakfast club as well as Badge of Life Canada.
The run is schedule to start April 11th at 4pm and will last until April 12th at 4pm.
myFM spoke with L&A OPP Constable Knowels, to learn more.
OPP officers will be joined by students, teachers, emergency services personnel, and community members for this run.
A GoFundMe page has been created with a goal of raising $5,000.
Community members are invited to come out and cheer the runners on. Donations will also be accepted day of.
