The Napanee Raiders have taken a 3-1 series lead after collecting two more wins this weekend.
Friday night at the SPC it was a quiet first period that saw no goals, The second period Picton scored once to take a 1-0 lead. Then in the third, it was three unanswered goals by Christos Chronis, Connor Brooks and Blake Aylesworth to make it a 3-1 Raiders win.
Sunday evening in Picton Napanee opened the scoring early with a goal by Andrew Carr 18 seconds into the period. Picton scored twice the remainder of the period to take a 2-1 lead. Picton scored their third on the night during the second period trail the Raiders 3-1. Ben White and Andrew Carr would both go on to score to tie the game at 3. After a nailbiter third period of will they/won’t they go to overtime, Connor Brooks would go on to score a power play goal with 17 seconds left in the game, followed by Michael Patrick scoring on the empty net with 9 seconds left for a 5-3 Raiders win!

Tuesday, March 5 – 8:00pm in Napanee
Thursday, March 7 – 7:30pm @ Picton*
Friday, March 8 – 7:30pm in Napanee*

In the other East Tod division matchup, the Port Hope Panthers have a 3-0 series lead over the Campbellford Rebels. Game four goes Thursday in Campbellford.
