Art and Found Day is back for a third year in Greater Napanee!
myFM spoke with Lisa Ray Koenig of Groovy Cats Art, who told us more about Art and Found Day.
On March 12th you may come across a package with a note asking you to take it home and that it is free! Inside the package you will find a wonderful piece of local art and a note from the artist.
Koenig says this wonderful initiative is a great way for up-and-coming artists to get their work out there.
Art will be hidden in plain sight throughout the community. We asked Koenig for a teaser about where she may hide her art.
Artists taking part in Greater Napanee include Cheryl Mooy, Jeanne Hudson, Joanne Kells, Lisa Ray Koenig, Marion Morgan and Sue Struthers. In Marysville Julie Anne Smith will be hiding art, in Roblin artist Angela Smith-Pollard is taking part, and in Yarker you can find art by Rob Mooy.
If you’re an artist interested in taking part, register at ArtAndFoundDay.com.
