The Napanee Raiders, having played a trio of games over the weekend, have bumped themselves up to third place in the East Tod Division.
Friday, February 16th the Raiders posted a 3-3 tie against the visiting Picton Pirates, thanks to goals by Adam Nuttall (2) and Christos Chronis.
Saturday, February 17th the Raiders paid a visit to Port Hope where they beat the Panthers 6-1. Napanee dominated thanks to goals by Christos Chronis (2), Ben Carter, Cameron Krupa (2) and Blake Aylesworth.
Then on Sunday, February 18th, the Raiders played a matinee game in Campbellford, where it was an impressive 14-0 victory over the Rebels. Goals scored by Marshal McFarland (2), Blake Aylesworth (3), Spencer Cranley (2), Cameron Krupa (3), Michael Patrick, Ryan Kidd, Ben Carter, and Luke Jarmin.
The Napanee Raiders are sitting in third place in the East Tod Division standings with a 25-14-0-2 record and 52 points. They sit behind Frankford (28-8-4-0) and Amherstview (27-13-1-0). Followed by Port Hope (22-13-4-1), Picton (16-21-1-2) and Campbellford (0-38-1-1).
The Raiders return to action Friday, February 23rd when they’ll host the Frankford Huskies at the SPC for their final game of the regular season. Puck drop at 7:30pm.
