The Ontario Provincial Police and Tyendinaga Police Service are still looking for two wanted individuals connected to a home invasion, kidnapping and assault that took place in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
They report two people turned themselves in but are still looking for Ashley Cummings, age 36 of Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory and Patrick Lennox, age 37 of Napanee.
If you see these individuals, or have any information on there whereabouts, do not approach them. Call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. If you want to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Over the weekend, Laura Lee Leween, age 42 and Jamie Kunkel age 44, both from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory turned themselves in at the Napanee OPP Detachment.
Leween is charged with:
- Assault with a weapon – two counts
- Kidnapping – two counts
- Forcible confinement
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Robbery with violence
- Theft under $5000
- Break and enter with intent to commit and indictable offence
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Disguise with intent
Kunkel is charged with:
- Assault with a weapon – two counts
- Robbery with violence
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Kidnapping – two counts
- Forcible confinement
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Theft under $5000
