Members of the OPP’s East Region Community Street Crime Unit arrested two people in Prince Edward County after executing a search warrant.
On January 25 police carried out a search warrant at a residence on Salem Road with help from units in Prince Edward County, L&A County, Quinte West, Frontenac, and Madoc, along with the Tactical Response Unit.
Police seized four firearms, assorted ammunition, 66 grams of suspected cocaine, ten grams of suspected methamphetamine, $840 in Canadian currency, two scales, two stolen snowmobile, and a stolen dirt bike.
As a result of this investigation, OPP has charged 26-year-old Reian Wallace of Consecon with:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm – four counts
- Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition – four counts
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000 – two counts
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
And 47-year-old Cindy Wallace of Consecon with:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
They were released and are set to appear in court on February 28th, 2024.
