The Museum of Lennox & Addington is thrilled to share its Winter 2024 programs and events lineup from January to March.
The lineup includes popular events like Tuesday Night at The Museum, the Active Series, PA Day FUN, FREE Museum Kids, Museum Teen Takeover, and Art Classes with Hill Werth.
Collaborating with the Municipal Heritage Committee, the Museum will host a Heritage Arts Workshop featuring self-taught Mohawk Artist Theresa Brant, where participants can recreate her painting “Sugar Moon.”
Additionally, there’s a whimsical March Break at the Museum with folktale-themed events for everyone!

- January 8 – March 25, Mondays, 12-12:45PM | Active Series, Zumba with Tricia at the Museum – $3, all ages and levels of experience! (*No classes on January 22, 29, and February 19)
- February 2, 11AM-12PM | PA Day, Lá Fhéile Bríde / St Brigid’s Day / Imbolc: A celebration of Brigid and Ireland’s Gaelic spring festival- Regular Admission, Family event for children 4-12 years of age.
- February 3, 10:30AM | Museum Kids – Pom-Pom Monsters (with Tanya) – FREE, ages 4-11.
- February 3, 1PM | Museum Teen Takeover – Learn Crochet: Toadstool Lip Balm (with Tanya) – FREE, ages 12-19.
- February 6 (rescheduled from January 9), 7PM | Tuesday Night at the Museum, Nocturnal: Meet the Animals that Thrive in the Dark (talk with wildlife photographer Bill Bickle) – $3, recommended for ages 13+.
- February 7 – March 13, Wednesdays, 12-12:45PM| Active Series: Yoga with Jeff at the Museum– $3, all ages and levels of experience!
- February 10 – March 23, Saturdays, 10-10:50AM| Active Series, Weekend Yoga with Sarah at the Museum– $3, all ages and levels of experience! (*No class on March 16)
- February 20, 7PM | Tuesday Night at the Museum, Cross Cut: Folk Songs of Early Ontario – Exhibit Opening and Artist Talk with Rob Niezen – $3, recommended for ages 13+.
- February 24, 1-3PM | Heritage Arts Workshop (in collaboration with the Municipal Heritage Committee) – Painting ‘Sugar Moon’ with self-taught Mohawk Artist Theresa Brant – $30, recommended for ages 11+. Registration closes February 22nd at 11:59PM or when full.
- March 7 – April 18, Thursday evenings, 6-7:30PM | Mixed Media and Printmaking with Hill (Kingston School of Art teaching artist) – $240 (includes all materials and 6 classes), recommended for ages 13+, beginner level. Registration closes March 5th at 11:59PM or when full.
- March 12, 10AM-4PM (drop-in) | March Break Programming, Museum Legends Scavenger Hunt- FREE, for ages 4-12.
- March 14, 11-11:45AM (time 1) & 1-1:45PM (time 2) | March Break Programming, Folktales with Lynn Torrie – Regular Museum Admission, everyone welcome (recommended for ages 4-12)
- March 16, 10:30AM | March Break Programming, How to Make a Whimsical Fairy or Gnome with Foam Clay (with Courtney from Lichen Fairytales) – Regular Museum Admission, ages 4-11.
- March 16, 1PM | March Break Programming, Foam Clay Whimsical Mushrooms (with Courtney from Lichen Fairytales) – Regular Museum Admission, ages 12-19.
- March 19, 7PM | Tuesday Night at the Museum, A Musical Journey through History: Greater Napanee-Quinte-Kingston – $3, recommended for ages 13+.
