Over the weekend, the Prince Edward County OPP charged a Napanee driver with impaired driving.
On January 14, 2024, around 8:00 p.m. officers responded to a call from Hastings Quinte Paramedic Service on County Road 35. Upon arrival, they spoke with a driver who was then arrested.
38-year-old Eric Hoyte faces charges of impaired operation and driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
They were released from custody with a future court date. They also had their license suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven.
