Local veterans find solace and restoration in the influence of music.
Music Healing Veterans, an organization, embraces the motto “Where words fail, music speaks” as their guiding principle.
Scott Duffy, a local military veteran tells us the history of the organization.
The program carries on through donations and has since expanded to across Eastern Ontario.
They provide a guitar and free lessons for retired veterans. The group has gone to play at small concerts and weddings locally.
Duffy tells us he hopes the donations keep coming in so they can continue on.
