The Lennox and Addington OPP and Limestone District School Board have partnered again this Christmas so select students can Shop with a Cop.
myFM spoke with Constable David Yome, who told us they are taking a few students from grades 4 to 8 shopping.
The OPP are still looking for monetary donations.
The money will go towards buying presents, which they will do locally, as well as lunch for the students and transportation to and from school.
This is Constable Yome’s first Shop with a Cop in L&A County but has heard the stories of what this means to the students.
