The polls are closed, and votes have been counted. The results of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte election are in!
R. Donald Maracle retains the position of chief with 809 votes.
Additionally, five new councilors have been elected, joined by one returning councillor.
Returning is Chris Maracle, joined by Chris ‘Hockey’ Brant, Kurtis ‘Chip’ Brant, Ogwari Brant, Erin Ferrante, and Lynda Leween.
They will serve as council for the term of 2023 – 2025.
