Prince Edward County OPP have charged a driver from the County following a single-vehicle collision on County Road 7.
When police arrived on scene, they found a pickup truck in the ditch with no driver nearby. They were eventually located.
The driver, 40-year-old Mitchel Harrison, was arrested for impaired operation (alcohol and drugs), having a blood alcohol concentration over the limit, failing to stay at the scene, and failing to report the accident.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and the driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
