Starting this Friday, anyone in the Belleville area won’t have to go to the police station to get a police check.
Instead, they’re switching to an online system for Criminal Record Checks, similar to what the L&A OPP moved to last year.
Belleville residents can now apply for various police record checks using a new, easy, and secure online portal.
This move to an online system helps the police serve the Belleville community better and faster.
And even though the process is getting easier, the fees for these record checks remain the same.
