A 25-year-old from Quebec is facing charges of impaired driving following a report from a vigilant citizen who saw her vehicle in a ditch on the westbound lanes of Highway 401.
In the early morning hours of November 9th, Lennox and Addington OPP arrived at the scene and noticed the driver displaying signs of impairment, along with the presence of alcohol in the vehicle.
After conducting a roadside test, the police proceeded to arrest her. Subsequently, her license was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused has been released on an undertaking and is expected to appear in court on a later date.
