Today along highway 7, you may notice some extra OPP out on patrol as the Quinte Region Traffic Coalition are joining forces for a “Safe on Seven” traffic safety campaign.
This coalition includes the Ministry of Transportation, and police from Quinte to Frontenac, including L&A OPP.
They will focus on addressing moving traffic violations, unfit vehicles, and Commercial Motor Vehicles along Highway 7 from Hastings County to Lennox & Addington County to Frontenac County.
They will also be on the lookout for impaired, distracted, and aggressive driving, as well people not wearing seatbelts.
