The Napanee Under 15 Express Boys clinched the bronze medal at the Canadian Fastball Championships held in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. They dominated the round-robin phase by triumphing in all 6 games. However, their journey hit a detour when they suffered a 6-1 defeat against the Newfoundland Selects. Undeterred, they rebounded with a narrow 2-1 victory over Wilmot and a thrilling 5-4 win against Elmira.
In the semifinal, they pushed Tara to extra innings but ultimately fell short with an 8-3 loss, ending their quest for the championship.
At the awards ceremony, Brock Boutilier made the All-Star team, while Nathan Lyons was the top pitcher and the MVP.
