My Broadcasting Corp. President Jon Pole speaks out on Facebook/Instagram News Ban

News links from Canadian content producers, like 88.7 myFM on NapaneeToday.ca are now being blocked on Facebook and Instagram.

My Broadcasting Corporation, myFM parent company, President Jon Pole was blunt in his assessment of the move.

The ban from Meta is in response to Bill C-18, which says in part that services like Facebook and Google should be sharing ad revenue with Canadian news media.
