A person has been charged with fraud and other offenses by the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police.
The investigation began in October 2022, covering multiple years of alleged misconduct.
The accused, Carol Ryan, aged 64, faces charges that include Fraud over $5000, Theft over $5000, Criminal Breach of Trust, Forgery, and Mischief.
The reported fraud involves a loss of over $100,000.
Ryan was released from custody and is set to appear in court on August 16, 2023.
