Thanks to the OPP’s Automatic Licence Plate Reader system, a missing 88-year-old man was located in Lennox and Addington County.
At around 1am June 3rd, L&A OPP were on regular duty patrol on Hwy 401 when they received a missing person hit on the A-L-P-R system in their patrol vehicle.
Police located and eventually stopped that vehicle just east of Odessa.
The elderly male who has dementia had been missing from Mississauga for 2 days.
He was taken to L&A Hospital for observation and reunited with his family.
