Kingston Police have arrested one individual following an investigation into a fraud report from the Kingston Women’s Soccer Club.
The club reported that they had been defrauded a large amount of money over many years, which included check fraud reported to police by the Kingston Community Credit Union.
An investigation resulted in an arrest made on May 10th, to a person formerly affiliated with the group.
The individual has been charged with 10 criminal offences, including fraud exceeding $5000, causing another person to act on a forged document and criminal breach of trust.
