It’s the most delicious time of the year! Smile cookies are making a return to a Tim Horton’s near you this spring.
Money raised in Greater Napanee is going to support the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation.
myFM spoke with Amanda Chalk, Foundation Program Coordinator, Who told us how the foundation is feeling ahead of this year’s campaign.
That’s right! Cookie’s this year will cost $1.50. 100% of proceeds raised will be donated to the hospital foundation.
Chalk let us know how these funds will help the hospital.
The foundation is also looking for volunteers to help ice the cookies.
For high school students in need of volunteer hours, there are opportunities Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th. Students interested in volunteering can contact the foundation, or speak with a local Tim Horton’s manager.
In 2022, over $29,000 was raised for the LACGH Foundation. This year, their goal is set at $30,000.
