An arrest has been made by Kingston Police after a shooting that took place in the area of Bath Road and Centennial Drive on March 24th.
Police say their Major Crime Unit and Criminal Investigations Division along with help from Toronto Police, executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Dixon Road in Etobicoke.
On April 6th the 22 year old accused was arrested and transported back to Kingston Police Headquarters and held in custody.
Jabril MOHAMED, a 22-year-old individual from Toronto, was charged with the following:
- Two counts of attempted murder
- Arson/fire causing property damage
- Obstruct peace officer
- Use firearm/commit an indictable offence
- Possess firearm while prohibited
- Handle/carry firearm carelessly
- Possess restricted firearm without a license and registration certificate
- Possess weapon dangerous to public peace
- Two counts of pointing a firearm
- Fail to comply with release order
