Cataraqui Conservation officials are reminding the public about changing watershed conditions as the weather begins to change.
Increased water levels are expected due to the melt of above average snowpack in the coming days, with flood factor such as rainfall and snowpack melts being the greatest contributing factors.
Conservation officials urge caution around dams and fast flowing water courses.
River banks could also become slippery, increasing chances of falling in.
Staff are currently monitoring conditions and will update statements as needed. Widespread flooding is also not expected at this time.
