A local race car driver will live her dream this February at Volusia Speedway Park in Florida. DIRTCar Sportsman driver Jessica Power will make her Big block Modified debut at the prestigious DIRTCar Nationals. myFM sat down with Power and she told us how this whole thing came together.
Power says she has experience in a Modified but not the Big Block division.
Power says there has been many people to thank for this opportunity.
Power says she is looking forward to racing on the big half mile speedway and actually does enjoy the bigger tracks. Her team has already started making the necessary changes to the car as they prepare for events from February 15th through the 18th.
