Impaired driving charges were laid after a traffic stop in Prince Edward County.
Late evening Tuesday, January 17th, OPP officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 62.
An initial investigation led to the arrest of the driver, who was taken to detachment for further testing.
The 44-year-old from Belleville was charged with Operation while impaired and Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration.
The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
The OPP would like to remind drivers that highway safety is a team sport, and to do your part and plan a safe ride home.
