A Freezing Rain Warning has been issued for Greater Napanee and the surrounding area for today. Freezing rain is expected for this morning and then change to rain by this afternoon. Weather officials say that freezing rain could continue through the evening in some areas with some ice accumulation expected. Roadways, walkways and parking lots could become slippery due to the freezing rain. Motorists are encouraged to drive according to the conditions. With the freezing rain warning in place, all school bus transportation in the Tri-Board region has been cancelled for today, however schools do remain open.
