The Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge is currently reduced to one lane of traffic and will be that way until mid-January. Temporary Traffic Signals are in place to control traffic.
Motorists are also being advised of a full night closure from 9pm Tuesday January 10th until 6 the following morning. This closure is intended for the epoxy injection of the South Abutment Expansion Joint.
The bridge will also be fully closed that week from 9pm Thursday January 12th until 6 the following morning, so crews can implement staging configuration for Segment E work. This will include relocating temporary concrete barriers, placing temporary pavement markings, and placing traffic on the west side of the bridge.
Anyone who normally accesses the bridge and needs an alternate route can consider using the Glenora Ferry.
