All residents within the County of Lennox and Addington including Loyalist Township, Town of Greater Napanee, Stone Mills, and Addington Highlands are asked to stay at home and shelter in place.All residents are advised to stay off the County and local roads as many roads or sections of a road are impassable due to snow drifts and extremely low visibility.
In Loyalist Township, roads have been closed due to severe weather conditions, making the roads impassable and extremely dangerous. Residents are encouraged to stay at home and shelter in place there as well.
The 401 remains closed and will not open until conditions improve and stranded vehicles are cleared.
Mohawks of the Bay Quinte ask residents to stay off the roads with many roadways impassable.
Roads are also closed in Prince Edward County.
