The Napanee Raiders are ending the year on a high note before taking a well-earned break for the holidays.
Tuesday, December 20th, the Raiders made the trip to Campbellford to play the Rebels. Scoring opened with two goals in the first for the raiders from Nicholas Goosney and Christos Chronis. Cambpellford then answered that with their loan goal of the night. Throughout the remainder of the game, Napanee went on to score 8 more goals by Marshal McFarland, Noah Westwater, two from Cameron Krupa, John Hearns, Cole Campbell, Adam Nuttell, and a second for the night for Goosney.
The Napanee Raiders remain atop the East Tod Division standings with a 23-2 record and 46 points. In second place is the Jets who have 33 points and third place Picton with 25.
The Raiders return to action Thursday, January 5th, 2023, when they will be in Picton to play the Pirates. Puck drop is 7:30pm. The following night they will be back home at the SPC to host the Frankford Huskies.
