The Municipality of Tweed will be hosting a Special Council Meeting for those impacted by the F-2 Tornado during the summer.
This evening, residents are invited to share stories, pictures, videos, experiences and ideas for the community as a whole to work on identifying the next steps. The meeting will take place at 6:30pm at the Tweed Hungerford Agricultural Building at 297 St. Joseph Street in Tweed.
Information and stories gathered at the meeting will be used to emphasize the need for immediate remedial action to prevent further damage in the aftermath. This will then be shared with both the federal and provincial governments.
