In local Napanee Minor hockey action, the North Fleet U11’s lost in Gananoque, while the U18’s rolled over Campbellford 7-1. Luc Amat had a hat trick for the locals.
The U15 Stars were in the Capital Mid-Season Showdown at the Ottawa Sensplex. They defeated Papineau 7-4 and earned ties with Osgood-Richmond and Ottawa West. In the late game, they were shut out 6-0 by Stittsville.
On Sunday, the Northfleet U11’s lost to Brighton, while the U18’s were edged by Douro 2-1.
At the Capital Mid-Season Showdown in Ottawa Sunday, the U15 Stars reached the semifinals, losing in overtime 4-3, to Ottawa West. At the same tournament, the U13’s also reached the semifinals, losing 5-0 to Stittsville on Sunday.
