An arrest has been made in a recent homicide investigation in Kingston.
On November 17th, Kingston Police Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Section and Emergency Response Unit, executed a search warrant on Front Street in Belleville.
55-year-old Daniel Berndt of Belleville was arrested and has been charged with Second-degree murder, Carrying a weapon during the commission of an offence, and Breach of probation.
Investigators are also asking for help tracking the whereabouts of a black, 2-door 2005 GMC Jimmy between November 12 and 13. Police believe it travelled from Belleville to Glenburnie and back at that time.
