Quinte West OPP have charged a 20-year-old driver for possession after a traffic stop in Trenton.
Early morning November 6th, OPP conducted a traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle.
While speaking with the driver, they saw what they believed to be suspected cocaine in the vehicle.
When they driver was stepping out of the vehicle, they observed a handgun, that was later determined to be an imitation firearm.
Police also seized a quantity of suspected cocaine and crystal methamphetamine, along with a collapsible baton.
The 20-year-old from Belleville faces three possession charges.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Court in Belleville on December 12.
