The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society as it pays tribute to Canada’s veterans and the animals who have bravely served by their side by wearing a commemorative Animals in War pin this Remembrance Day.
myFM spoke with Kristy White, Interim Manager, Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Animal Centre, who told us about the pins.
There is limited supply left of the pins. White says they only have a handful of pins left at the centre, so you’re encouraged to buy yours online.
White told us about which animals are featured on the pins.
The commemorative Animals in War pin is intended to be worn alongside the poppy and represents the sacrifice made by animals who have served, and continue to serve, alongside Canada’s veterans.
