Prince Edward County had a buy weekend, arresting four separate drivers who are now facing impaired driving charges.
On Friday evening a 34-year-old from Quinte West was stopped for speeding. After a roadside test they face two impaired charged and one for speeding.
Saturday evening a driver from Kingston was stopped for speeding, and after a screening test they were arrested for impaired driving. There was also open alcohol and cannabis were seized.
Early Sunday morning a driver from Prince Edward County was stopped after not obeying a traffic signal on Picton Main Street. They face two impaired charges.
Then Sunday evening OPP responded to a single vehicle collision where OPP found the vehicle well off the roadway and heavily. The driver was arrested for impaired driving. Additionally, open alcohol was located within the vehicle.
All accused were released from custody with a future court date.
