If you’re looking for something to do on Saturday, you may want to plan a trip to the Museum of Lennox and Addington and Macpherson House! Saturday September 24th, both site will be taking part in Doors Open, in partnership with the Kingston and Area Association of Museums, Art Galleries, & Historic Sites.
Doors Open Ontario began in 2002, the first province wide event of its kind in Canada, attracting visitors to unique heritage sites and cultural tourism experiences.
myFM spoke with the museum’s new archivist Heather Wilson, who told us what’s happening on Saturday.
This is a great chance to visit Macpherson house before it closes for the season.
There will also be some new exhibits at the Museum on Lennox and Addington to see.
As well their reading room will be open, with a number of items on display.
No registration is required. The Museum will be open from 10am – 5pm, and Macpherson House will be open from 10am – 4pm.
