A heads up to local boaters, the City of Quinte West has installed a new day dock along the Trent River at the Front Street Farmers’ Market for easy access to the market and downtown Trenton.
The low modular dock, located at 67 Front St, accommodates both motorboats and paddle crafts.
Quinte West Councillor and Chair of the Public Works and Environmental Services Committee, Allan DeWitt, says This new dock helps to further develop the city’s waterfront, along which, for the last two decades we’ve worked hard to enhance opportunities for water tourism.
Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison says they’re happy to support the Front Street Farmers’ Market and our downtown businesses with the addition of a new dock.
