L&A Mutual Insurance is this week’s “Destination Local”, presented by Naturally Lennox and Addington and 88.7 myFM.
L&A Mutual Insurance has been in business since 1876 serving Napanee and the surrounding area. Their head office has always been in Napanee. they recently moved locations to what was originally known as the Agricultural Cooperative, but affectionally known as the Co-op building.
myFM spoke with president Mike Salmon, who told us about the move to 76 East Street.
The building features a unique roof top patio, that features an antique tractor from a local far. Inside the building there is more art by Shane Goudreau, who also painted the buildings silos. Salmon told us about some more local, historic materials used.
L&A Mutual Insurance will be hosting an open house on Thursday July 28th from 1-4pm. Community members are encouraged to attend and take a look.
